The results of drug residue test showed that the residue of Ceforolin (LC) in milk after 3 days of administration was lower than MRL. According to the relevant provisions of the European Union on the calculation of MRL and withdrawal period, the withdrawal period in milk was calculated using the statistical method developed by CVMP (double unilateral 95% confidence interval). The calculation results were 3.42 days and 3.34 days, respectively, thus the withdrawal period was determined to be 4 days.
Safety Test
The clinical manifestation and local mammary symptom scores of lactating cows with 1x dose, 3x doses and 5x doses showed that no abnormality was found in the mental state, food and water intake, fecal and urinary excretion, and local mammary symptoms (swelling, flushing, fever, pain, etc.) of the cows on the 3rd day and the 5th day after continuous administration. There were no obvious adverse reactions and no animal death. Meanwhile, rectal body temperature, pulse and respiratory frequency indexes of the cows in each dose group were all within the normal range in the administration group and the control group. There were no significant differences in the above three indexes at different time points in different groups and at different time points in the same group (P>0.05). The hematological indexes of experimental group and control group were within the range of normal physiological indexes. The results showed that 5 times the recommended dose of Cefquinome Sulfate Intramammary Infusion (Lactating Cow) had no significant effect on the blood indexes of dairy cows.
