1. Prevention Against Bovine Lumpy Skin Disease

This product is made with FLK-BLV cells inoculated with a weak strain of goat pox virus, harvested through cell culture, purified, added with a new protective agent, and finally dried by freeze-vacuum. It’s developed to prevent bovine lumpy skin disease.

2. Antigen Concentrated and Purified with High Content and High Safety

This product contains a weak strain of goat pox virus (CVCC AV41). When it’s used to prevent bovine lumpy skin disease, the virus content per dosage per animal should not be less than 10^4.5TCID₅₀.

Efficacy and Use

This product is to prevent bovine lumpy skin disease. Immunity occurs 4 to 5 days after vaccination, and the immunisation period is 12 months.

Usage and Dosage

Intradermal injection of medial root of tail. Use the Specialized Diluent for Bovine Lumpy Skin Disease 10ml/ bottle (or water for injection) to dilute the 100 animal dosages/bottle of the vaccine to 5 animal dosages/0.5ml, and inject 0.5ml for each cow.

Safety Test

A total of 856 cattle for rearing over 3 months of age and lactating cattle were immunized with the Goat Pox Vaccine, Live (intradermal injection of medial root of tail at a dosage of 5 animal dosages) in a northern pasture. Through observation, the body temperature of the immunized cattle was normal, no allergies were found, the decrease of feed intake was not obvious, and the decrease of milk production was not obvious.

Storage and Validity

If stored at a temperature of -15^oC or lower, the product will be valid for 24 months. If stored at a temperature of 2^oC to 8^oC, the product will be valid for 18 months.
